We are CTRD

Consortium for Training, Research and Development (CTRD) is a West Bengal-registered society that has worked in India's agriculture and allied-livelihoods sector for over two decades (2004–2026). CTRD's core mandate is skill training coupled with business and enterprise incubation support — building the capacity of growers and farmers, and developing niche, market-linked enterprises across horticulture, fisheries, poultry, and dry-flower value chains.

Over this period, CTRD has directly trained more than 1,00,000 beneficiaries through 100+ government- and CSR-funded projects, facilitated credit infusion of approximately ₹4 crore, and channelled grant aid of around ₹1.22 crore to more than 7,000 agri-entrepreneurs. The organisation is active across West Bengal, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Assam, Odisha, Tripura and neighbouring states, with a dedicated presence in the North-Eastern Region through branch offices in Guwahati, Assam.
